The Swiss Federal Office of Culture is presenting the 18th Swiss Grand Award for Art / Prix Meret Oppenheim to three outstanding personalities from Switzerland’s cultural scene whose artistic and architectural work has international impact: artists Sylvie Fleury and Thomas Hirschhorn, as well as architect Luigi Snozzi. The laureates will be honored together with the winners of the Swiss Art Awards on June 11, 2018 in Basel.

Latifa Echakhch will present a solo show as part of the “Sensory Spaces“ (a series of solo exhibitions in the Willem van der Vorm Gallery, in the museum’s foyer) at Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, Rotterdam. For each edition an artist is invited to make a personal and surprising response to the space’s specific architectural characteristics. Opening June 9th, 2018 from 3pm / Closing September 30th, 2018
