‘Post-Image’ is a series made of media images extracted from the international press and meticulously torn in pieces by the artist. These images of the first pages of the newspapers have become fragments, micro-territories questioning our collective unconsciousness elliptically. French-Armenian artist Melik Ohanian assumes a politically minded, multidisciplinary approach to art making. Although his various conceptual films, photographs, and installations tackle a broad range of subjects, they generally deal with current events and political communities.
