Works of Shai-Lee Horodi's solo show deal with the mechanisms of seeing, optics and the establishing of self, the inscription of value into mater and the conceptual possibilities of this process. The exhibition offers diverse possibilities of action unified under a single conceptual umbrella, from the constitution of a separate economy on top of the ruling one to the constitution of selfhood insubordinate to identity, from the development of a gaze that transcends the limits of sight to a gender transition that does not revolve appearance.
