Shai-Lee Horodi observed a notable aspect of the mass production in the jigsaw puzzle industry: many companies utilized a single template to cut pieces for various puzzles. This practice allowed for the mixing of pieces from different puzzles, resulting in the creation of a complete yet absurd and abstract image. The artworks in question explore themes related to the mechanisms of seeing, optics, self-establishment, the infusion of value into materials, and the conceptual possibilities arising from these processes.

The exhibition in which they were first shown (Blue Woman with a Red-Greenish Vagina – see pdf attached) present of actions under a cohesive conceptual theme. This includes exploring the idea of establishing a separate economy alongside the existing one and forming a sense of self that goes beyond traditional identity boundaries. It also delves into the development of a gaze that surpasses the limits of ordinary sight and a gender transition that is not solely focused on outward appearance.
