For this body of work, Naama Tsabar collaborates with different bands to create a series of ‘Performance Reliefs’. The artist goes on stage when the band’s show ends and gaffers the cable arrangements to the surface of the stage. She then pulls the thin gaffer tape skin off the stage by way of imprinting the stage surface and cable composition, as if it were a mold of time. The title of each work is the name of the band and the date they performed. The size of the work and composition of cables are predetermined by the the size of the stage and the band’s setup.
