Latifa Echakhch featured in It’s Just a Matter of Time at PalaisPopulaire, Berlin

Latifa Echakhch is among the artists featured in It’s Just a Matter of Time, a group exhibition on view at PalaisPopulaire in Berlin from April 10 to August 18, 2025. The show brings together works from the Deutsche Bank Collection alongside selected loans, tracing artistic reflections on time, memory, and transformation from 1946 to the present.

Set against the rich and layered history of the Palais—formerly a royal residence, cultural institution, and GDR-era disco—the exhibition explores how art can echo the past and shape new understandings of the present. Rather than offering a linear account of history, it reveals the ways in which memory surfaces through absence, architecture, and shifting cultural narratives.
