Dvir Gallery is pleased to announce that the work of Mircea Cantor will be featured in the group exhibition 'Dans le Flou, une autre vision de l’art de 1945 à nos jours' ('Out of Focus, another vision of art from 1945 to the present day'), on view at the Musée de l’Orangerie in Paris from April 30 to August 18, 2025.
The exhibition explores the aesthetic and political dimensions of blur in modern and contemporary art, beginning with Monet’s late Nymphéas series and extending through works that embrace ambiguity, instability, and indeterminacy as a response to the postwar world.
