Simon Fujiwara at Mudam, Luxembourg

In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Mudam launches a dynamic new programme composed of art-historical encounters, artistic investigations  and participatory projects. Among the events is a  major mid-career exhibition  by artist Simon Fujiwara, opening on March 20, 2026, and on view until August 23, 2026.

 

Known for his incisive  exploration of contemporary culture, Fujiwara creates works that blur the boundaries between autobiography, collective memory, and media spectacle. For this occasion, he will turn Mudam into a fully immersive environment inspired by the theatricality of theme parks. Within this setting, visitors will encounter a rich selection of projects spanning the last seventeen years of the artist’s career.
