Upcoming screenings of Karen Russo's Sinkholes

We are delighted to announce that Sinkholes (2024) by Karen Russo will be presented in several prestigious international film programmes this season:
 

  • Beijing International Short Film Festival (BISFF) 
    8–16 November 2025 - Beijing, China

 
The film will be presented in the Future Ethics section that explores different dimensions of the ecological condition — from the perspective of animals to the breath of landscapes — opening horizons for imagining new forms of coexistence between humans, nature, species, and territories.
 

  • Self-Made, curated by Short Circuit Films
    24 November 2025 - Fabrica, Brighton, UK

 

Self-Made will screenplay documentaries that investigate the intricacies of self-production. From film craft to identity & creativity, they capture the challenges of self-made careers and explore otherworldly landscapes.

  • Visions in the Nunnery
    6 December 2025 - Nunnery Gallery, London, UK

 

Visions provides a curated perspective on the dynamic and boundary-pushing realms of moving image and performance, showcasing works from around the globe. Each edition features two to three distinct programmes, led by pioneering artists recognized for their innovation in digital media. The vision and ideas of these lead artists guide the selection of works and shape the overall character of the exhibition.
