Museum Acquisitions: Naama Tsabar in the collections of Centre Georges Pompidou and Hamburger Bahnhof

A significant moment in the international recognition of Naama Tsabar’s practice
We are pleased to share that works by Naama Tsabar have recently been added to the collections of Centre Pompidou and Hamburger Bahnhof, further expanding her presence within major international museum collections.

Centre Pompidou has added Naama Tsabar’s Work on Felt (Variation 31) Graphite (2023) to its collection. This acquisition joins Stranger (2017), a video work already held by the institution, highlighting the ongoing presence of Tsabar’s work within the museum’s collection across different media.

Following her solo exhibition Estuaries at the museum in 2024, Hamburger Bahnhof acquired three works by Naama Tsabar—Work on Felt (Variation 22) Dark Blue (2023); Inversion #6 (2021); and Inversion #4 (2021). Inversion #4 will be included in the rehang of the collection, launching in the museum’s west wing on 12 June 2026 as part of 'A Thousand Times Berlin'.

We warmly congratulate the artist on these important institutional recognitions.
