Dvir gallery is happy to invite you for 'Une Nuit Blanche' at The Shoah Memorial From Saturday June 1, 7pm to Sunday June 2, 2am where you can discover video by Miroslaw Balka 'Winterreise / Bambi' , 2003
After the tribute to Christian Boltanski in 2022 (“Des regards. Des esprits”) - the first exhibition to pay homage to the artist who recently passed away - and Melik Ohanian in 2023, with “Remember, it was tomorrow” - his three works evoking the Armenian genocide brought together for the first time -, this Nuit Blanche 2024 will take place under the sign of transversality and abundance, a way of responding to the danger of radicalism through the plurality of worlds, histories, struggles, memories and emotions.
That evening at the Shoah Memorial, we'll be thinking not only of the victims of the Holocaust, but also of the Tutsis and the exiles of yesterday and today, from Rwanda to Poland, from Paris to Kigali via Lublin, from Birkenau to Natzwiler. An evening with multiple entries, allowing visitors to stroll through the Memorial and discover several works by leading contemporary artists, focusing on two themes: video and performance.
