In the List of Works: David Maljkovic

Dvir Gallery is pleased to present ‘In the List of Works’, David Maljković’s third solo exhibition with the gallery, the second in our Brussels’ space. 

 

This new exhibition by Maljkovic, revolves around a network of signs, fragments, transformations and references. ‘In the List of Works’ aims to pursue a multitude of readings to a work and various display modes as it evolves and transitions. The reiteration of a cumulative gesture points to key methods and concerns: a collagist attitude, self-referentiality, the re-use of earlier pieces as work material, art’s autonomy vis-à-vis formal developments, the nature of the gaze, and the complexities of time.
